Alicia and Luke got married at The Machine Shop in Minneapolis! This is such a unique Twin Cities wedding venue! The Machine Shop was originally built in 1916 and was used to produce and repair state-of-the-art, modern equipment for the Pillsbury A-Mill. In 2016, this historic machinery shop was restored into this amazing event venue it is today!
Alicia and Luke’s wedding floral was full of blush and white tones with no shortage of greenery! Since the venue has such a rich historical aspect and fascinating architecture, the couple didn’t need too much decor but they did want something unique for their ceremony backdrop. For those who have not been to this venue, the ceiling is very unique! It allows us a bit more creativity as we are allowed to hang items from the ceiling. So for Alicia and Luke’s backdrop, we used draping and greenery to create something simple that wouldn’t pull away from the building’s industrial vibe. We love seeing how everything came together for these two!
